Count your blessings

Welp. I haven't really posted recently…
School and life have been CARAZY!
...and I don't really know what to blog about…But…
Fun fact: I GOT ACCEPTED INTO BYU's GRAPHIC DESIGN PROGRAM!
So I am now officially a Graphic Design Major!
I am still pretty ecstatic about it!:)

I am LDS, (part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and today in church it was amazing how everything coincided with one another. There are 3 parts to church and the topics talked
about don't always have to compliment each other, but it amazes me when they do.
And that was today!
In Sacrament meeting (the first part) people go up to the pulpit to bear their testimony(on the first sunday of the month we do this) on the gospel and almost everyone seemed to talk
about Jesus Christ. Some talked about the Atonement (his sacrifice for us) and others talked about
challenges they've had and how they overcame them with the gospel and the help of Christ, and others related stories of change. And then in Sunday school (the second hour of church) we were discussing
the story of Balaam and Balak in Numbers 22 in the Old Testament; and how we need to
listen and obey Christ and follow the commandments and teachings of the Lord. And then in Relief Society (the third block, and last hour of church) we learned and discussed about being grateful
and noticing the tender mercies of the Lord. It may not seem like they all coincide, but they do. Christ died for each of us and went through trials but always obeyed and lived righteously, we learn from Balaam and Balak that to live righteously we need to follow the commandments of the Lord and make good choices, and then we need to be grateful for the Lord's help and hand in our lives as well as notice everything He has done, so the Tender mercies. It was just amazing to relearn and think about all of these subjects.
I know in my own life I love to be able to
recognize the Lord's hand and help in my life.
Without Jesus Christ I would be nothing.
I challenge you today to write down at least 5 things you
are grateful for, and do that every day for at least a week and
see if you are happier, and kinder to those around you.
I know it works.
At least notice the tender mercies, the little things, the Lord has blessed you with.
I love you all!
I hope you have a Happy Sunday!:)
