Hot pink pencil skirt

I'm in a clothing class at school and before school finished we each made a skirt! Mine is the hot pink pencil skirt!!! I was actually able to set up the display case, so the hanging of the skirts was done by me! :)
Funny story. The black shirt on the mannequin had a logo, and the purple skirt had a sash with it, so I made the sash into a scarf, and then wa-lah! You can't see the logo any more! :)

Hot Chocolate

So, I don't know how I get so cold here in Arizona, but I do. So recently practically every night I have a cup of hot cocoa. It is the best thing someone has created since popped corn and burritos and cinnamon rolls and cookies and....yeah, never mind...I like food ;) But if you just need something therapeutic, just turn on some great tunes or a cheesy christmas movie and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and a blanket! I promise it works! :)

Happiness

Since my blog title is "Happiness in every moment" I thought I'd just share that I am so happy and grateful for my family and all the people that have been in my life! I love being optimistic and I love it when people always have a smile on their face! :) I think the world is the best at thanksgiving and all the way to January, because everyone seems to notice each other more :) haha! I cannot believe how quickly this past semester of school has been! I have enjoyed every moment.

Homecoming dress!

This is my homecoming dress!!!!!!! My older sister, Tresann, had made the blue dress quite a long time ago, and I never wore it, so with her permission I decided to fix it up! :) The dress went to the ground originally and so I bought some white lace fabric, sewed it on, cut the dress, made a few other alterations, added a belt and there it is!!!! :) I had so much fun making it and wearing it!

TIE SKIRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my tie skirt and my officially completed tie clutch!!!!! I wore it to church today and was super cute! One picture I am wearing a belt with the skirt and the other one is without. I even bound the skirt with the skinny part of the ties! My mom and gramma were nice enough to help me make it especially with the invisible zipper! :) If you want to know more on how I made it, just let me know! :) Oh, by the way, my necklace is a bracelet on a chain and then I tied a ribbon on it. I had so much fun with making it all!!!!!!

Interior Design: week 3

This week in my ASU Design Primer class was spent learning about interior design. We each did a different person in the classes dream relaxation room. I did Angela's. She likes to draw and paint. SO yeah I love the final outcome! I was a little stressful and annoying to try and figure it out and make it perfect but I feel like I achieved an almost perfect room! Haha! It looks awesome in person! :)

drawing...

So I drew the top picture but didn't want to do anything else to it just in case I ruined it. So.....I photo copied it and then drew on those! I decided I'd try and make one of the pics into a guy for kicks and giggles....and it actually came out pretty good! I just wanted to post these pics somewhere! haha! :)

Design class week 2: Architecture

Sorry I'm about a week late! ;) All of these pictures are of my lounge station I designed in week 2 of my design class. (ASU Design Primer) The design we studied was architecture. These are my 4 models. I am so proud of them!!!! I had a lot of fun creating them and seeing my progress even though it was a little stressful at times. But isn't all hard work? :)
 (1st try)
 (2nd try)
 (3rd try)
 Last and Final!!! :)

How to use a cheap picture frame!

Isn't this awesome!? I made it with my friend Jenessa!!! It's a dangly earing holder! We just painted cheap picture frames and then put in chicken wire and scrapbook paper behind it! It looks cute and works wonderfully!!! You could even glue ribbon or tool on the back of it and hang it on your wall instead of using the stand. I was also thinking of adding knobs or something like that at the bottom, so then if you did hang it you could put your necklaces and/or bracelets on them! :)

Nail ideas!!!!

Hey there! I saw this crazy idea on how to paint nails on Pintrest!!! You just paint your nails normally and then while its drying you paint the non-sticky side of clear tape with different nail polishes ! And then you cut out different shapes and just stick them on your nails wherever and however! Oh, and once you're done just put a clear coat on top so that the tape doesn't fall off. But yeah pretty cool!! :)

What you see here is part of my creative streak!! :) Well, I got this idea from a clutch picture my older sister showed me on the internet. I am in the middle of making a tie skirt, so I decided to use my leftovers and try and make one! I cut off the handles of an old small purse that I never used, and I hot glued the skinny part(end) of a couple ties!!! It was so much fun to make and it looks super cute if I may say so myself :) I decided it was a success! I'm not sure if I am going to add any other decorations...but I think I might hand-sew the ends of the ties together, so it's just one flap over the zipper instead of 7....

ASU Design Primer

So, I'm taking a five week class at ASU and it is about five of there different design classes; landscaping architecture, architecture, interior design, industrial design, and visual communications. I know it's pretty exciting!!!! :) Haha! The class is supposed to help me decide what I want to major in next year since I'll be graduating high school and going to college....scary. I know. But yeah, it has been  pretty fun! I am on week two, and the picture below is of one of my projects during landscaping architecture. It is a critical analysis of what I think of Gilbert. Towards the end of August my projects will all be displayed with all the other kids in the class! I'll let ya know when it is! It will be fun!

My brother's home! :)

My Brother just got home from his two year mission in Taiwan for our church. It's been so much fun seeing him again and hanging out! He is leaving tomorrow for school, but it's been fun hearing about everything and spending time with all of our family!

We're just missing my older sister and her family..

Tab Journal!

So, today I decorated a notebook for a journal!! It was a swell time! I put tabs on random pages to give it more flare and to make it more fun and unique! It's super easy and holds good memories!

Arise and Shine Forth! EFY!!

I went to Especially For Youth(EFY) this past week up at NAU and it was such a blast! I was able to spend time with amazing sons and daughters of God and strengthen my testimony of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.  I made a bunch of new friends and cannot wait to get to know them even more!! Everyday was filled with new thoughts and fun activities which will be memorable memories in my life!

Trek...we sang as we walked..and walked..and walked..and walked..

Trek was an amazing experience! I went on trek with my stake in the LDS church and it helped me learn more about myself and my church history.  I gained a greater respect and knowledge for the pioneers and people who travelled across the plains pulling handcarts.  I only walked for 20 miles helping pull a handcart with all our luggage, which compared to what the pioneers had to do is nothing. I learned that I can do hard things and so anytime that a challenge/trial arises, I know I can get though it with the help of my family and Heavenly Father.  I also learned that family is one of our greatest assets. I already knew I loved my family and have a great one, but being put with random kids under a set of other parents was a great experience and fun! My "family" was wonderful!!! We all got along and they were just the best! :) Trek was hard but definitely worth it!

Start of summer! :)

This is the start of my summer blog!!! :) School has been out for 11 days! I've already gone swimming, saw avengers (ah-mazing movie!), played with friends, and went on trek!!
